The Vaporesso Luxe XR Max 2 is the pod mod that does both styles from the box: one pod set up for mouth-to-lung with a 0.8 ohm coil, and one for direct-to-lung with a 0.2 ohm coil. It has the biggest battery in the Luxe range and takes replaceable GTX coils, so it suits someone who does not yet know which draw they want, or wants one device that covers both. Compatible Pods
Takes Luxe XR pods, which fit any GTX coil, and Luxe X pods, which have the coil built in. The box has both XR pods: the MTL one with a 0.8 ohm coil for 50/50 and nic salts, and the DTL one with a 0.2 ohm coil for high VG liquid. Lower resistance is looser and warmer, higher is tighter and closer to a cigarette. For reference, the GTX coils you can buy are:
0.15 ohm, 60 to 75W, direct-to-lung
0.2 ohm, 45 to 60W, direct-to-lung, fitted in the DTL pod
0.3 ohm, 32 to 45W, direct-to-lung
0.4 ohm, 26 to 32W, restricted direct-to-lung
0.6 ohm, 20 to 26W, restricted direct-to-lung
0.8 ohm, 12 to 16W, mouth-to-lung, fitted in the MTL pod
1.2 ohm, 8 to 12W, mouth-to-lung

Good to know
Start on the MTL pod if you are coming off 20mg disposables. It takes 50/50 and nic salt liquid and gives the tighter draw you are used to. The DTL pod and its 0.2 ohm coil are for 70/30 or high VG liquid at low strengths, and nic salts will taste harsh in it.
Each pod suits a different coil range. Keep the mouth-to-lung coils (0.8 and 1.2 ohm) in the MTL pod and the direct-to-lung coils (0.6 ohm and below) in the DTL pod, because the pod airflow is matched to them.
Smart mode sets the correct wattage for whichever coil is fitted. Staying on that setting gives the best coil life, so it is generally better to leave it alone. You can override it on the screen if you want a warmer or cooler vape.

Our own drivers deliver from the Stacey Bushes store. You get an out for delivery text with a live arrival time, a map to follow the driver, and a delivered notification by text and email when it arrives. Click and Collect
Order online, choose Click and Collect at checkout, and pick up from our Stacey Bushes store. Collection is available seven days a week during store hours.
When will my order be ready?
Usually within two hours of ordering while the store is open. Your order stays as processing until you collect it, so there is no rush.
What do I need to bring?
Your order confirmation email on your phone and photo ID in the same name as the order. Nothing needs printing.
Can someone else collect for me?
Yes. Either put their name as the recipient on the shipping address when you order, or send them with photo ID matching the name on the order.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long do the coils last?
A GTX coil typically lasts one to two weeks. It depends on how often you vape, what liquid you use and whether you keep the coil saturated. Sweet liquids clog a coil faster, and letting it run dry between top-ups shortens its life more than anything else. The 0.2 ohm DTL coil runs at higher power so it tends to wear sooner than the 0.8 ohm MTL coil.
Can I use nic salts in the Luxe XR Max 2?
Yes, in the MTL pod. The 0.8 ohm coil fitted in it is made for 50/50 and nic salt liquid at 10mg or 20mg, and the tighter draw suits the higher strength. Keep nic salts out of the DTL pod, because the 0.2 ohm coil pulls a lot of vapour and a 20mg liquid will be far too harsh.
Do I need to change the wattage when I swap pods?
No. Smart mode reads whichever coil is fitted and sets the wattage to suit it, so switching between the MTL and DTL pods needs no adjustment from you. You can override it on the screen for a warmer or cooler vape, but staying inside the range printed on the coil gives the best coil life.
How do I change the coil?
GTX coils push and plug into the base of the pod, so pull the old one out and press the new one in. Fill the pod and leave it five minutes before the first puff so the cotton soaks through.
What does the screen show?
Battery level, the mode you are in, the wattage and the resistance of the fitted coil. That is how you can tell at a glance which pod is in and whether it needs charging.
