Bottom airflow tanks leak. Everyone knows it, everyone's dealt with it - the puddle in your bag, the soggy mod, the e-liquid all over your hand. Vaporesso's answer with the iTank T was to move everything to the top. Airflow comes in at the top, e-liquid goes in at the top, and there's a self-circulating system inside that deals with any condensation before it becomes your problem.

The result is a proper DTL tank that delivers big flavour and decent clouds without the mess. It's compatible with the full GTi coil range, two coils are included in the box, and it holds 6ml with the bubble glass. If you've been putting up with a leaky tank, this is the upgrade.

• Top airflow - and it actually matters

Moving the airflow to the top of the tank changes everything. Air comes in at the top, travels down to the coil, then back up and out through the drip tip. That path means e-liquid can't work its way out through the air channels - which is where most bottom-airflow tanks go wrong. There's also a 3D honeycomb airflow design in there that evens out the draw and keeps the vapour smooth.

• Slide-open top fill

One hand, one slide, fill done. You don't need to flip the tank, unscrew anything, or take it off your mod. Just push the top cap across and pour. It is quick, clean, and ensures no drips down the side of your device.

• COREX 2.0 with GTi coils

The GTi coils use Vaporesso's COREX 2.0 tech - featuring an upgraded mesh grid, better cotton, and faster heat-up times. The 0.2Ω comes pre-installed for big, open DTL vaping, while the 0.4Ω is in the box if you want something slightly tighter with a heavier flavour focus. They feature press-fit installation too, so there is no twisting or cross-threading to worry about.

• Self-circulating e-liquid system

Any condensation that builds up inside gets pulled back into the system and re-vaporised. In practice, it means the base of the tank stays completely dry. No gurgling, no spitting, and no waking up to find your mod sitting in a puddle.

• 6ml capacity

The included bubble glass gets you to a 6ml capacity, which for a DTL tank means a proper session without constantly reaching for the bottle. High-VG e-liquids work best here - 70/30 VG/PG and above is what Vaporesso recommend, and it's worth sticking to that.

The iTank T does what it promises. Top airflow kills the leaking, the GTi coils deliver solid flavour and clouds, and the slide-fill is genuinely one of the better refill systems going. It’s not complicated. Point it at a decent mod, fill it with high-VG liquid, and it gets on with it. If your current tank is giving you grief, this is a straightforward fix.
