Plan B and What it Means at Vape Direct

Looking to buy a vape as a gift this Christmas? Here is how you can shop in safety, courtesy of Vape Direct.

As of Wednesday the 8th of December 2021, Prime Minister Boris Johnston has announced the introduction of Covid Plan B. Evidence shows that the current covid infection rate is doubling in as little as 2.5 to 3 days. This has forced the government to take safety measures to protect people. This means changes to your Christmas shopping plans, to prevent changes to your Christmas plans.

There is no denying that we are all sick of Coronavirus. Nevertheless, we need to keep implementing changes that will keep our customers safe, and that will keep us compliant with Plan B. Here is how it will affect your experience in shopping for vape devices online, right here at Vape Direct.

Helping Customers Feel Safe

We want to ensure each of our clients has as safe an experience in buying their vape or vape juice as possible. We need to stay aligned with government instructions to institute Plan B, which are as follows.

Plan B Rules

The UK Gov has asked that face masks be worn in all indoor public places, with the exception of hospitality venues. They have insisted that testing and vaccines are our best defence and have asked that an NHS Covid Pass be made mandatory in some settings. In the absence of the pass, a negative test result can be used. Settings for this include gatherings of five hundred or more.

Lastly, they have advised that everyone that can work from home, do so, as of Monday the 13th of December. To comply with these rules, Vape Direct have made a few changes.

What to Expect from Vape Direct?

Considering the above, we have implemented in-store changes to help meet the new criteria. You can expect:

  • All our staff to be wearing masks, a mandate for all customers, too.
  • We will reduce the number of clients we serve to two people in the store at a time.
  • We will implement social distancing rules as before.
  • There will be free to use sanitation stations and we will ensure staff use them often.

We will be listening closely for further instructions to make sure we remain compliant with government legislation. You will see similar arrangements throughout your shopping experience in the run up to Christmas. During this stressful period, it is important to remember that these measures are made to protect us all.
