Is your disposable vape not operating in the way that it should be? If you can’t get it to work, follow this guide to read about potential causes and possible solutions.
Not all disposable vape devices are made equally. There are those which do not work to the same standard as others. Be it differences in puff limits or lengths of time which the battery lasts for, different qualities of disposable vape device come in at different price points. It is all well and good to buy a cheaper product, but the quality may suffer as a result – particularly if you accidentally buy in illegal vapes at knock-off prices which could damage your health.
If your disposable vape device isn’t working it may be due to one of the following reasons.
What exactly is it that is wrong with your disposable vape device? Typical faults include the following things:
Try the following fixes for each of these disposable vape issues.
If the battery has depleted in the disposable vape device there is no way to charge it. Unfortunately, disposables are designed not to recharge and instead to throw away (in the recycling bin).
Your vape device’s battery should last for 3-5 days depending on how heavily you use it. If it lasts for only a day or two, it may be faulty. Contact the manufacturer and return it.
If your disposable vape device is leaking vape juice, it may be because you are using it too much. Overheating the liquid can cause it to leak out of the smallest cracks. Again, this may be the result of a faulty unit. You might wish to complain to the manufacturer.
Vape juice should not leak out of your disposable device. If it does, it is usually the sign of a cheap or imitation vape device. We do not recommend you continue to use it.
Occasionally heated vape juice will rise up the mouthpiece if you hold the activation button for too long at a time. This is especially true of cheap disposable vapes. The juice then cools farther up the mouthpiece and causes stickiness and clogging.
To prevent this from happening to you, make sure you hold the activation button for a second or two before you start inhaling. This should prevent juice travelling up the device.
A second reason you may not be able to get a draw from your disposable vape is a clogged or blocked airflow hole. Move your fingers and try again.
If you suspect your device is faulty then discontinue using it immediately. Return it to the manufacturer and explain what went wrong.
If your vape makes strange noises that are particularly loud or concerning, discontinue use and treat it as a faulty device. It may mean that the e-liquid has run out, in which case the vapour will taste strange.
